Membership Recruitment Idea of the Month
So… maybe your membership just isn’t where it used to be? Or maybe your chapter is trying to raise membership to be the largest CTSO your school has to offer. Maybe you are trying to raise membership to earn more chapter of the year points. Whatever the reason is, you came to the right place. This is Maddie’s Membership Recruitment Idea of the Month.
PLAN A SOCIAL
It’s September! The back-to-school phase has finally reached an end, and yet, the FBLA year has just begun. What better way is there to recruit members than hosting a social event exclusive for only FBLA members? Having a social will not only help members get to know each other, but also will encourage others to join FBLA to get the chance to participate in the social.
My personal favorite is an ice cream social. Having an ice cream social is flexible, yet fun and easy. You can host your ice cream social during school, if your administrators approve, or after school. Just be sure to remember all of the essentials. You can NEVER have too many toppings or flavors.
