The Middle Level Achievement Program

Want to get your members recognized at the State and National levels for their outstanding commitment to their chapter?

The MAP (Middle Level Achievement Program) is a program designed to reward FBLA-Middle Level members who excel in their participation in a variety of activities within their local chapter in the areas of service, education, and leadership. Members must complete these activities individually to be recognized at the State Leadership Conference and the National Leadership Conference! Any member who has paid their dues for the 2015-2016 FBLA year will be eligible to complete the MAP. If the member successfully completes any of the levels, their name will be displayed on the National FBLA website!

The MAP is rigorous and requires a significant amount of a member’s time to complete. The student may have to stay after school to complete activities, so planning an after school chapter MAP work session is a great way to boost your members’ interests. By working together, students can get their individual levels done and enjoy the process of completing their MAP! Also, by having work sessions at the school, the chapter adviser can keep better track of the member’s progress. The more members that complete their MAP levels, the more points your chapter will earn in the Middle Level Chapter of the Year competition!

There are three levels in the Middle Level Achievement Program: Entrepreneur, Business, and Enterprise. In order to move on to the next level, the student must successfully and completely finish the previous level. Here is a brief overview of the three levels:

Level 1: Entrepreneur Level

All new Middle Level members must begin with the Entrepreneur level. It introduces members to community service, basic business skills, and involvement at the local level. The student will receive a pin (which will be sent to the local chapter adviser) from the national office if they successfully complete this level. This level is due March 1, 2016.

Level 2: Business Level

This level focuses on chapter activities, intermediate business skills, and leadership within the chapter and the community. The students who successfully complete this level will also receive a pin from the national office that will be sent to their local chapter adviser. This level is due March 1, 2016.

Level 3: Enterprise Level

This award focuses wholly on chapter leadership activities, advanced business skills, and community and school leadership. The names of students who successfully complete this level will be sent to Monty Rhodes, Georgia FBLA Executive Director, and the pins will be presented to the students at the Georgia FBLA State Leadership Conference! This level is due March 1, 2016.
