Monroe Area FBLA members collect small stuffed animals and baby blankets for a local ministry simply called Bears & Blankets of Walton County. Peggy Lassiter, the founder of the non-profit, collects small stuffed animals and blankets and takes them to local fire departments, police stations, and EMS centers. These items are offered to small children when a crisis has happened. MAHS FBLA collected 30 blankets and 17 stuffed animals.
