October is here and fall is in full swing. It is during this month that you will be recruiting new members, attending the Fall Motivational Rally, and getting your members excited about the upcoming FBLA events and conferences your chapters have planned to make this your Time to SHINE!
A great way to engage your members is to host a chapter Ice Cream Social. It’s a great was to get new and returning members excited about their year in FBLA and it’s a great way for your members to bond and get to know each other as chapter members. Your Ice Cream Social could be held after school in a classroom or you could take the next step and have you social in a grass field or common area where you can bring in games and activities for your members to participate in.
Having fun social activities in the beginning of the year is a great way to recruit new members and energize the returning members.
